چکیده

In the present investigation, performance of a crossbred (White pekin × Khaki Campbell) duck meat and egg variety produced through artificial insemination were studied under intensive system management. A total 157 day old ducklings reared in experimental farm with standard management practice brooding, growing balanced feed health However, at 16th wk age, 30 female ducks confined to individual cage record their laying performances. The growth revealed significant difference between male from 8th 24th week age. Most body measurement parameters found higher than that Campbell less White Pekin similar blood biochemistry estimates no variation except for albumin calcium wherein value is highly females. carcass quality 20th par average age sexual maturity was recorded as 131.83±1.65 days 50% production flock 139 days. per cent up 45th 80.31±3.44 it also 108 occasions, one laid more egg. study eggs (100 nos) 40 wks 62.31± 0.44 g weight 92.378 ± 0.453 Hague unit scale. reproduction cross-bred (WP KC) may meet expectation farmers be benefitted both production.

Inclusion of an emulsifier to the diets containing different sources of fats on performances of Khaki Campbell ducks

An experiment was conducted to study the effects of an emulsifier (glycerol polyethylene glycol ricinoleate: GPGR) and different sources of fat on the performance of Khaki Campbell ducks. Ducks were assigned into five groups with three replicates (10 ducks/replicate) in each group. Treatments were a control diet (C1: without added oil and emulsifier), control diet added with 2% soybean oil (C2)...

Energy Values of Feed Ingredients for White Pekin Ducks

A modified true metabolizable energy bioassay was used to determine the nitrogen-corrected apparent (AMEn) and true (TMEn) metabolizable energy of various feed ingredients for ducks. In each of two experiments, which lasted 102 h with a 54-h excreta collection period following a 48-h period of feed withdrawal, six male White Pekin ducks were assigned to each of three test feed ingredients and d...

Effects of Pyridoxine on Growth Performance and Plasma Aminotransferases and Homocysteine of White Pekin Ducks

A dose-response experiment with seven supplemental pyridoxine levels (0, 0.66, 1.32, 1.98, 2.64, 3.30, and 3.96 mg/kg) was conducted to investigate the effects of pyridoxine on growth performance and plasma aminotransferases and homocysteine of White Pekin ducks and to estimate pyridoxine requirement for these birds. A total of 336 one-day-old male White Pekin ducks were divided to 7 experiment...
